What this is

For boats without a superstructure

Unlike universal covers sold in standard sizes, this one is made individually and follows the outline of your particular boat. The top panel is a flat tarpaulin surface cut to the outline that the successive width measurements every 50 cm define — so the shape stays close to the hull's actual geometry, pointed and rounded bows alike.

A side skirt of the height you choose drops down all around the top panel. It keeps the same height along its whole length and follows the outline of the cover: if the boat's top edge drops towards the bow, the bottom edge of the skirt follows it down.

Shaped to the boat

The sections every 50 cm describe your boat's shape, not an approximate rectangle.

Skirt of your choice

You decide how far the fabric drops along the sides of the boat.

No stitching

Top panel and skirt are joined by high-frequency welding — watertight and strong.

How to measure

Five measurements and one diagram

To make a cover whose shape is as close as possible to your boat's outline, we only need a handful of measurements. You enter them all in the configurator above, and the diagram on the right shows where each one is taken.

  1. L

    Boat length

From the foremost to the aftmost point of the hull, excluding the outboard engine and other protruding accessories.

  2. W0

    Bow width

The width at the foremost part. On a pointed boat this may be 0 cm; on a flat or rounded bow, enter the actual width.

  3. W1…

    Widths every 50 cm

Starting at the bow, measure the width every 50 cm along the whole length, across the centreline, between the outermost points of the hull.

  4. Wк

    Last section

The last measurement is taken right at the aft end, even if it is less than 50 cm from the previous section.

  5. H

    Skirt height

How far the side skirt should drop below the top panel. The height you enter includes the 5 cm bottom hem.

The product is made only for boats symmetric about the centreline and within the calculator's length range. It is not suitable for asymmetric boats or boats with a complex superstructure.

Measure along the actual outer outline; on inflatable boats, across the widest part of the tubes.

Which boats

Boats without a superstructure

The cover is meant for craft whose top edge allows covering with a flat top panel and a skirt dropping around the perimeter.

Motor boats

With an outboard engine — the version without a rear skirt leaves the engine outside the main cover.

Fishing boats

Protection from rain, dust and dirt while stored outdoors between trips.

Rowing boats

A light cover that goes on and off quickly, with eyelets all around the perimeter.

Inflatable boats

Measurements are taken across the widest outer part of the tubes, and the elastic cord runs under the hull.

The cover is for boats without a superstructure and with a symmetric shape. Boats with a cabin, wheelhouse or other superstructure fall outside this product.

Why order online

Measure. Configure. Order online.

The whole order happens online — without visiting our workshop and without sending the boat in to be measured.

Instant price

The calculator works out the price from the measurements entered and the stern option.

You see what you order

The 3D view builds the boat from your sections and shows the cover on it, in the colour you picked.

The finished cover is folded and shipped to an address or to a courier office.

How it works

From the measurements to the finished cover

  1. 01

    You measure the boat

Following the diagram: length, bow width, widths every 50 cm and the last section at the aft end.

  2. 02

    You configure the cover

Enter the measurements, choose the skirt height, the rear skirt and the colour, and see the price.

  3. 03

    You order online

Add it to the cart and complete the order. We confirm it by phone before production.

  4. 04

    We make it

We cut the top panel to the outline, weld the skirt on by high frequency and fit the eyelets.

  5. 05

    We ship it by courier

The cover travels folded, to an address or to a courier office.

Fastening

How the cover is secured

A rope or an elastic cord can be threaded through the eyelets along the bottom of the skirt to tension the cover. How exactly depends on the boat and on the conditions of use.

Boat on a trailer

A single continuous elastic cord, zigzagged between the eyelets and the trailer's steel frame, tensions the cover evenly — without fastening anything to the hull itself.

Inflatable boat

Where there are no suitable fastening points, the elastic cord passes under the hull and links the eyelets on opposite sides — no hooks or metal fittings on the tubes.

The cover must be well tensioned and securely fastened, both in storage and in transit. Before transport, check that the fastening suits that particular boat, trailer and driving conditions.

Production

How the cover is made

The top panel is laid out from the sections you entered and cut to the resulting outline. The side skirt is cut as a single band following the perimeter and joined to the top panel.

High-frequency welding

The top panel and the skirt are joined without stitching — a strong, watertight joint suited to PVC-coated material.

Hem with eyelets

The bottom of the skirt is finished with a 5 cm hem carrying Ø10 mm aluminium eyelets roughly every 30 cm, centred in the hem.

The cover is made for boats symmetric about the centreline. Asymmetric hulls and boats with a complex superstructure are not taken on.

Included in the price

  • Top panel cut to the outline of your boat
  • Side skirt of the chosen height, high-frequency welded
  • A 5 cm hem along the bottom of the skirt
  • Ø10 mm aluminium eyelets roughly every 30 cm
  • Tarpaulin 700 g/m² in the colour you chose

Not included

  • Elastic cord or rope for fastening
  • A support or frame under the cover
  • A separate box-type cover for the outboard engine

The elastic cord and the engine cover are ordered separately — call or write to us and we will add them to the order.

Material

PVC tarpaulin 700 g/m²

The cover is made of synthetic tarpaulin with a PVC coating and a smooth glossy surface that lets no water through the material itself and makes cleaning easy. Available in a range of colours from the current stock.

Weight 700 g/m²

A dense material that stands up to mechanical load and takes both frequent fitting and removal of the cover and a whole season of outdoor storage.

  • UV stabilised
  • Waterproof
  • Easy to clean

Boat covers

Important

What to know before ordering

Rainwater run-off

The top panel is flat, so water can pool on it in heavy rain. Place a support with rounded, smooth contact surfaces under the cover to create a slope for run-off, and do not let snow build up.

The measurements are yours

We make the cover to the measurements you give us. Check them carefully against the diagram before confirming the order.

Transport on a trailer

The material also suits transport on a purpose-built trailer, provided the cover is correctly and securely fastened.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

The boat's length, the bow width, the widths every 50 cm along the whole length, the last section at the aft end, and the height of the side skirt. All measurements in the calculator are entered in metres.
The last measurement is taken right at the aft end of the boat, not at the next 50 cm mark. On a 3.30 m boat, for instance, the widths are taken at 0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 cm, and the last one at 330 cm.
Across the widest outer part of the tubes.
How far the side skirt drops below the top panel. The height you enter includes the 5 cm bottom hem — at 30 cm ordered, the skirt has 25 cm of free drop and 5 cm of hem.
With a rear skirt suits boats whose stern can be covered completely. Without it is for boats with an outboard engine, which stays outside the main cover — a separate box-type cover can be ordered for the engine.
No. The price covers the cover itself with its hem and eyelets. The elastic cord or rope is ordered separately — call us and we will add it to the order.
It can, because the top panel is flat. To prevent water pockets, place a stable support with rounded, smooth contact surfaces under the cover to lift part of the top surface and create a slope for run-off.
Yes, provided the cover is well tensioned and securely fastened. Before transport, check that the fastening suits that particular boat, trailer and driving conditions.
Washing with water, a soft brush and a mild detergent is usually enough. Do not use strong solvents or abrasive tools.
