The two covers

One slips on, the other is thrown over

Both are made to your size from waterproof PVC tarpaulin. The difference is how closely the cover needs to fit.

“Box” type cover

A box-shaped case, open at the bottom. It wraps the top and all four sides and looks tidy — a good fit for objects with a clear rectangular shape.

Rectangular cover

One tough flat sheet with eyelets around the edge. Lay it on top and it follows the shape of what is underneath — even a heap or objects of different heights.

  • Metal eyelets about every 50 cm around the whole edge

Workmanship

Made by a tarpaulin manufacturer

PVC tarpaulin A waterproof material that keeps out rain, snow, dust and dirt — outdoors and indoors.
UV protection Sun fades and ages the tarpaulin far more slowly than fabric without this protection.
Welded joints Panels are joined by high-frequency welding or bonding, not with ordinary stitching.
Hem and eyelets A 5 cm hem with Ø10 mm metal eyelets about every 50 cm — for a rope or elastic cord against the wind.

UV protection slows ageing but does not stop it — the life of a cover also depends on climate, colour and use.
